Welcome to Hypnogenie, committed to helping you toward improved mental health, physical health and overall wellbeing. I'm Amanda Wright, a clinical hypnotherapist and wellness/mindfulness consultant specialising in weight loss, sleep problems, neurodiverse children, anxiety and chronic pain.
In our busy contemporary lifestyle, individuals of all ages are facing increased levels of anxiety and mental health issues. According to a recent survey by the Australian Psychological Society, there has been a concerning rise in depression and anxiety among children aged 13 to 18. Adults are also grappling with issues such as weight management, sleep disturbances and self-confidence.
As a clinical hypnotherapist, my passion lies in helping children and adults thrive by addressing these challenges and empowering them to overcome limiting beliefs. Through evidence-based clinical hypnotherapy methods, we work together to reduce anxiety, boost self-esteem, improve sleep patterns, resolve ADHD symptoms and achieve sustainable weight loss. With over 25 years of professional experience in leadership roles within corporate organisations and government, I bring a unique blend of real-life expertise to my practice. I am trained in mental health, wellbeing, injury management, and have an extensive knowledge of lifestyle guidance. By combining these skills with clinical hypnotherapy, evidence-based cognitive-behavioural therapy, and practices like yoga and mindfulness, I offer a holistic approach to help you make lasting changes and achieve your desired outcomes.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Social Science, a Graduate Diploma in Public Health, and an Advanced Diploma of Clinical Hypnotherapy. As a clinical hypnotherapist and kundalini yoga teacher, I am dedicated to empowering clients to improve their health and life.
